My therapy approach is an integrated approach. It is mainly based on: Schema Focus Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT). My method is also influenced by psychodynamic therapy, humanistic (or person-centered) therapy and body-based (psychomotor) treatment.
It means, understanding your history and how it relates to you now is important; taking actions and moving forward to the future is also important. Healing is possible during an empathic environment, and a healthier version of yourself will be built and help you move forward in the rest of your life.
During the session, we talk, feel (emotion and somatic feeling), imagining. Sometimes we do breathing exercises or write exercise. If you have problem feeling, I encourage you to image a scene or to feel your body sensation or your movement.
My peers and clients described my helping styles being “deep listening and understanding”, “very soothing”, “very respecting”, “heartfelt”, “accepting”.
Service Fees (2020)
Individual sessions (Online or Face-to-Face) last 45-50 minutes. The following rates apply:
- Normal rate: 78 euro/session
- Discounted rate: 50 euro/session (If your income is lower than the local minimum wage)
- First session: 40 euro
The discounted rates are set because of my own will to help people in need.
Next to the session rate, a venue fee is applied for face-to-face sessions. The venue fee is 20 euro per session. Face-to-face sessions currently take place in Amsterdam (Ijsbaanpad 9) from Monday to Friday and in Rotterdam (Van der Takstraat 28) during the weekends.
Because of COVID-19, all sessions are conducted via zoom/skype.
You can call for simple questions for free (10 – 15 minutes).
Please pay each session via internet banking no later than midnight of the session date.
